About Home DiscipleshipHome Discipleship Press seeks to help you and your family walk with Jesus throughout each day, not just for an hour on Sunday. We encourage simple Christian practices in the home--Bible reading, prayer, memorizing Scripture, family worship and singing--so lives may be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit through the Word.
These practices provide individuals and families ways to listen and talk repeatedly to God. Any relationship grows from listening and talking repeatedly. These ways of interacting with God strengthen our relationship with our loving Creator and Savior. Building healthy spiritual habits is like building healthy physical habits. A fitness club helps people to develop consistent physical habits. The goal is to know God better and to become more like Jesus. The Bible says, "Train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come" (1 Timothy 4:7-8). Home Discipleship Press challenges individuals and families to grow in a closer relationship with Christ. Our products are designed to help you with that. We provide support in developing the home discipleship practices of Bible reading, prayer, Scripture memory, family worship and singing.
